There are some of you here who may already be familiar with Seventy K.
It's the petition trying to push for a young adult cancer bill of rights---to create real legislation with our own vested interests.

I want to  encourage anyone who has not signed this bill to take one moment and sign it.

Then I would ask you to up the anty a little.
If you are really passionate about paving the way for legislation protecting the rights of our underserved age group...pick 3 or 5 or 50 friends who have been supportive of you and understand the path you have walked.
Ask them to sign the petition with you and so many others in mind.

The tally of names on the petition has hovered under 4,000 for weeks now and if we here in Rochester pushed that way over just think of the statement that would make. Please sign Seventy K...and please don't stop there... help spread the word.
Feel free to copy some or all of this email when you forward it on to others.

Young cancer survivors need their voices heard now more than ever. With so much momentum in cancer advocacy ours is still the little whisper that could. But we can get louder by calling others around us to support the cause. We do not have to be an afterthought.

Our generation needs to reap the benefits of progress and advancements other demographics have seen...this is us knocking on that door.

YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. SIGN---and tell others to sign--keep the chain moving and pass it on.
Thanks in advance.

Leah
